The art is mostly modern. Nice collection of art in Fargo - very nice, clean facilities. Artworks in the exhibition explore the relationship between order and disorder, as well as individuality and collectivity. The heavens of stars, nebulae, and galaxies depicted in the upper half of the painting make us ponder our place in the universe as much as our location on planet Earth. This is the version of our website addressed to speakers of English in the United States. I am not an art enthusiast but even for me this museum was excellent. For the Constraint exhibition were looking for similar encounters, power in nature, and moments in the outdoors that have brought about a life changing realization, or a moment of reckoning.
I was expecting it to house Native American art of which there was little. The dinner includes tostaditas, ceviche, a salad, charred vegetables, braised pork and banana leaves, masa-based hot chocolate, almond cookies and fried cinnamon fritters. The exhibits are fine, but limited. A fun find in Fargo.
